Info: listening object made for CincyStories, steel and bronze, electroplated with gold, 1" x 2" x 1", 2018, commissioned by the Ohio Contemporary Art Center and Wave Pool
Wave Pool and the Contemporary Art Center of Ohio worked with New York-based artist Caroline Woolard to create a set of “listening objects” for 4 local organizations, each made in direct response to the needs of these organizations. Woolard partnered with MORTAR and Cincy Stories, CUCI, and the Welcome Project. The finished pieces live with these organizations as well as in a common space where the public can interact with them and use them as well as learn more about the project and the four organizations involved. The project debuted at the neighborhood summit in March 2018 with a presentation by Woolard and was exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Center.
